WASEN Meeting 30th March

Next Meeting: 30th of March 5.30pm Tim’s House 79 West Parade East Perth (right next to the East Perth train station)

Featuring the tapas meals for the cocktail dinner!
Please come and sample + stick around for the meeting. We’ll be talking Fundraising, Campaigns (specifically nukes & climate) & Cons Council affiliation (potentially with a guest from Cons to chat to us about it).

Funds for WASEN go to supporting students getting to environmental conferences around Australia, direct actions, skillshares.

Location: St. Catherine’s College, across the road from UWA, parking (if needed) at 2 Park Rd. Nedlands.

Transport:
Buses from the city: 78, 102, 107
From Freo: Train to Claremont Train Station, then bus 102

VE(ry)GO(od) Food + Grass + You = PICNIC!

1 – 5 pm Sunday 1st March, Hyde Park in North Perth, crnr William & Glendower Sts

Da West Australian Student Environment Network (WASEN) invites the wonderful and varied cross campus enviro collectives to gather at Hyde Park (corner William St & Glendower Sts) in North Perth on Sunday the 1st of March to dream and scheme about theories of change and how we might toil together.

Bring a plate of food (vegan and organic are elements particularly encouraged but if organic is too expensive, any vego/vegan food’ll do)

During the afternoon there’ll even be the opportunity to learn/teach/ignore how to fix a deadly treadly i.e. there’ll be a bike workshop, people!

Transport:
Buses on Sunday from the city (Barrack St, Stand 2) going up William St & past Hyde Park: #60 (to Morley Bus Stn).

It’s about a 25 minute walk to Hyde Park from the city, or a 5 minute bike ride!
